Three Days after the album Going Out in Style was released on March 1st, 2011 the Dropkick Murphys played in Des Moines, IA. The album was not only the first DM recording since the Meanest of Times four years prior, it was the recording debut of multi-instrumentalist Jeff DaRosa who joined the band in 2008. In a genre not know for instrumental diversity DaRosa plays the piano, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, and even the bouzouki in addition to the expected electric guitar.
